1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern all quotations, orders and deliveries of auto diagnostic equipment and related services by CTO Plus Technology Co., Ltd. ("CTO Plus", "we", "us"). By placing an order the buyer accepts these terms. Deviating conditions require our written confirmation.
2. Quotations & Orders
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the information available at the time (exchange rates, freight, component costs). An order is accepted when we issue a proforma invoice or order confirmation. Prices are EXW Shenzhen unless otherwise agreed (Incoterms 2020).
3. Payment
Standard terms: 100% advance payment for sample orders; 30% deposit + 70% before shipment for volume orders unless credit terms have been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer (T/T) and PayPal (samples). Currency is USD or CNY unless otherwise agreed.
4. Lead Time & Delivery
Standard lead time is 3–7 working days after payment confirmation for stocked items; OEM/ODM projects are quoted individually. Delivery dates are estimates — we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs or force majeure, but will inform buyers promptly and cooperate on solutions.
5. Warranty
Diagnostic tools carry a 24-month warranty, workshop equipment a 12-month warranty from shipping date, as detailed on our Support page. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover misuse, unauthorized disassembly, water or fire damage, or normal wear parts.
6. Returns & Claims
Visible transport damage must be reported within 7 days of receipt with photos. Warranty claims are handled by remote diagnosis first; if hardware repair is required, we ship replacement parts or arrange return per the warranty policy. Unused, resalable goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt at the buyer's cost with prior written approval.
7. Software & Updates
Device software and vehicle coverage are licensed, not sold. The first 2 years of vehicle software updates on X-431 platforms are included; continued new-model coverage afterwards requires the optional annual renewal. Unlocked functions remain usable without renewal.
8. Compliance & Export Control
Buyers are responsible for the lawful import, registration and use of equipment in their jurisdiction. Products must not be resold to parties subject to applicable sanctions or export-control restrictions.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase value of the affected goods. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or damages arising from improper use of diagnostic data.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation; unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Shenzhen courts.
