Generator Control Circuit Malfunction
The ECU commands the alternator but does not see the expected response — typical on smart-charging systems where the regulator is ECU-controlled.

- ✓ Inspect the control wire between ECU and alternator.
- ✓ Command the alternator with a scan tool and watch charging voltage respond.
- ✓ Test the battery and the current sensor on the negative terminal.
