The steering control module is not responding. Assist usually drops to a reduced default rather than disappearing entirely.

Cómo diagnosticarlo
Primero lo más barato y menos invasivo: la mayoría de estos códigos no son un problema de piezas.
- ✓ Check the high-current supply and earth to the steering rack.
- ✓ Measure CAN at the steering connector.
- ✓ Read the module directly with the scan tool.
- ✓ Check coding status if the module was recently replaced.

Almost never. Systems default to reduced or zero assist, which is heavy but controllable.
